If you are a female who suffers from acne you need to be careful with the makeup that you wear. Don’t wear too much as this will clog your pores and make your acne worse. Also make sure that you remove it all each night before you go to bed. Leaving your make up on can also aggravate your condition. Make sure that the make-up remover you use is very mild as this will not damage the skin in any way.
To open your pores and allow your skin to breathe you might want to use a compress. This should be warm to the touch and not feel as though it is burning when you apply it to your skin. Compresses will gently encourage the pores on the face to open which will improve acne. You need to be aware that overuse of a compress can damage the skin so use them once or twice each week to get the best results.
